Terms of Service

Welcome to Heartbeat Studio (“Heartbeat,” “we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your purchase of memberships, programs, and services. By using our website, reserving a spot, or purchasing anything from us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
Heartbeat Studio is a movement and wellness studio located in Happy Valley, Oregon, offering mat Pilates (POP Pilates®), dance fitness (WERQ®), Restore (guided foam rolling), corrective exercise assessments (Body Blueprint), Reiki energy healing, and related programs and memberships.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to purchase a membership, program, or service, or to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must register and consent on your behalf.
3. Bookings, Deposits, and the Founding Member Program
- Founding Member spots are limited (30 total studio-wide, 8 reserved for the Find Your Beat founding cohort) and offered first-come, first-served.
- A $49 deposit reserves your Find Your Beat spot and is fully applied toward your $297 founding price. See the Refund Policy for deposit terms.
- Joining our waitlist does not guarantee a spot and is not a purchase.
- Once locked in, Founding Member pricing is honored for as long as your membership stays active and in good standing.
4. Memberships
- MOVE, MOVE & HEAL, and TRANSFORM are billed on a recurring 28-day cycle with no long-term contract. Cancel any time, effective at the end of your current billing cycle.
- Included sessions and class caps reset each cycle and don’t roll over.
- We may change pricing for new members at any time; active Founding Members are exempt from increases as described above.
5. Health and Safety
- Our classes involve physical movement and touch-based energy work. Consult a physician before starting, particularly if pregnant, postpartum, recovering from injury or surgery, or managing a chronic condition.
- A health history and liability waiver are required before your first session. Participation is at your own risk.
- Reiki is a complementary wellness practice, not a substitute for medical treatment, diagnosis, or advice.
6. Code of Conduct
We’re committed to a trauma-informed, inclusive, judgment-free environment. We ask everyone to treat instructors and fellow clients with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service or end a membership for conduct that’s abusive, unsafe, or disruptive.
7. Intellectual Property
POP Pilates® and WERQ® are registered trademarks used under license. All other Heartbeat Studio branding and content is the property of Heartbeat Studio LLC.
8. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payments and Vagaro for scheduling and membership management. Your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heartbeat Studio LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your participation in our programs. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the update.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
